Jaipur : The grand ‘Rajasthan Festival’ Closing Ceremony was a fitting finale to the past three days of cultural extravaganza witnessed today at Janpath in Jaipur. The occasion was the celebration of the Rajasthan’s Foundation Day on 30th March.
The mega event showcased the true essence of Rajasthan - its bravehearts, mighty warriors, rich wildlife, colorful festivals and vibrant culture - while portraying the State’s future readiness. The event saw an integration of technological elements like projection mapping on the striking facade of the Vidhan Sabha; water projection and finally a laser integrated music performance.
The Chief Guest on the occasion was the Queen Mother of Bhutan, Her Majesty Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck. Among the dignitaries present on the occasion were also the Governor of Rajasthan, Kalyan Singh and the Rajasthan Chief Minister, Vasundhara Raje, Minister of State for Tourism, Krishnendra Kaur ‘Deepa’ and Group Chairman, Vedanta Resources, PLC, Anil Agarwal.
